Hope for Allergy Sufferers

1. The Problem
Homeopathy is highly effective in the treatment of allergies and fully capable of stimulating the patient to the point of complete relief from all allergy symptoms.

Some 38% of the population suffer from allergies at one time in their life, and usually the best treatment offered by conventional medicine is avoidance of the allergen (the substance responsible for the  allergic response)

Homeopathy, on the other  hand, addresses the cause of the sensitivity to allergens by strengthening the increased resilience. A resilient person is able to withstand a wide variety of environments by responding appropriately to each situation without suffering chronic ill effects.
Symptoms involve inflammation at the interface between ones external environs and internal environment: on the skin, the mucus membranes, the respiratory tract, the digestive system and the eyes. The inflammation that results causes the various allergic symptoms that many of us are familiar with from personal experience or through someone we know.

2. The conventional approach
This approach usually incorporates the strategy of environmental control whereby the patient avoids exposure to the allergen as much as possible. There are however two essential limitations to this approach. Firstly avoiding the allergen completely may be difficult in highly sensitive individuals for whom even trace amounts of allergen produce a full-blown response. Secondly the avoidance approach doesn't address the true cause of the allergy which is, not the allergen, but the person's sensitivity to it.

In some cases medication may be used as an adjunct to avoidance: antihistamines and/or corticosteroids. Of these, corticosteroids are the more disruptive because they paralyze the immune system at its root, whereas antihistamines interrupt the allergic response without fundamentally altering immune function.

3. The Homeopathic Approach
Homeopathic nosodes stimulate the body's own natural immune system to correct itself. There are no side effects, they can be used long term without adverse results and they use only natural substances (ie no chemicals or synthetics).

Another Nobel prize winner speaks for Homeopathy

Nobel Prize winner Brian Josephson PhD, an emeritus professor at Cambridge University, England has joined Luc Montagnier in making strong statements in favour of homeopathy.
In the New Scientist he writes:

Regarding comments on claims made for homeopathy: criticisms centered around the vanishingly small number of solute molecules present in a solution after it has been repeatedly diluted are beside the point, since advocates of homeopathic remedies attribute their effects not to molecules present in the water, but to modifications of the water's structure.

Simple-minded analysis may suggest that water, being a fluid, cannot have a structure of the kind that such a picture would demand. But cases such as that of liquid crystals, which while flowing like an ordinary fluid can maintain an ordered structure over macroscopic distances, show the limitations of such ways of thinking. There have not, to the best of my knowledge, been any refutations of homeopathy that remain valid after this particular point is taken into account.

A related topic is the phenomenon, claimed by Jacques Benveniste's colleague Yolne Thomas and by others to be well established experimentally, known as "memory of water." If valid, this would be of greater significance than homeopathy itself, and it attests to the limited vision of the modern scientific community that, far from hastening to test such claims, the only response has been to dismiss them out of hand.
